NEW YORK, Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ — Worldwide sales of copper-based carrier Ethernet access platforms rose 74% year-over-year to $208 million in the four-quarter period ending in 2Q08, according to the new Carrier Ethernet Access Platform (CEAP) Quarterly Market Tracker service published by Heavy Reading ( www.heavyreading.com ), the market research division of TechWeb’s Light Reading (ww.lightreading.com).
