Qualifications:

1+ years experience of software development; experience in telecommunication or data-communication area is a plus

Good working knowledge of RTOS and/or LINUX and be able to write code for device drivers, Knowledge of pSOS+ or VxWorks system is a plus

Position Overview:
Testing Engineer opportunity with ANDA Networks is offering revolutionary products in the carrier-class communications area.

Description:
The Testing Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test procedures and specifications for 10/100BT, 10/100FX, GigE, Ethernet over DS3/OC3/OC12. GSHDSL, E1 & E3 are desirable. Experience in using Smartbits and test instruments, oscilloscopes, Adtech and Agilent network test equipment is required.

Perform Configuration Validation Testing for ANDA's EtherTone Products

Train and perform manufacturing product testing at supplier site

Design and perform user application testing based on full understanding the application of related standards and protocols

Work with QA Engineer for trouble shooting of Printed Circuit Assemblies and identify and resolve quality problems on purchased parts

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or above

Knowledge in Level 2/3 network protocol, TCP/IP protocol

At least 3 year testing experience in Telecommunications products and networks products OR in maintaining telecommunications products and networks products at carrier site

Experience in TCL, C, VBScript, networking protocol is a plus

Experience in software development release control procedures is a plus

Description:
Responsible for processing customer purchase orders, i.e. receiving, reviewing, entering customer purchase orders into ERP system, verifying compliance with pricing, delivery logistics, and company policy requirements, modify order contents, and final review entered orders for accuracy, improvements/consolidations and for setting up new customers and making changes to existing customer information in the ERP system.  

The position holder needs to become familiar with Ethernet Network products, part numbers, Customer Service processes and procedures as outlined in the relevant documentation including ISO.   The position holder also needs to be familiar with ANDA’s Syspro ERP system and be able to generate various reports from it.  

This position will also have daily interaction with Customers, Field Sales Reps and Distributors worldwide to ensure paperwork is accurate for processing the customer orders within a given turnaround time. In addition to building strong relationships with the Field Sales Team, the OEA has to build equally strong relationships interdepartmentally and cross-functionally in order to resolve order issues (IS&T, Shipping, Tactical Marketing, Production Control, Finance, Customer Service Account Managers).  

Receives customer product and/or part orders by phone, mail, email, fax or sales representatives.

Enters product delivery information into computer system.

Determines and/or verifies product specifications, pricing, packaging and delivery.

Coordinates new account paperwork and shipment of purchases.

Processes and maintains standing order shipments and literature requests.

Maintains and prepares reports regarding calls received, orders taken and products shipped.

Determines appropriate delivery method based on type of product and customer's need.

Responsibilities:
Works with minimal supervision to perform varied tasks of intermediate complexity including but not limited to followings:

Contract review

Order entry

Coordination with Sales and Operations groups

Customer service support

Prioritize orders to accommodate rush orders and maintain a balance among the several sources of incoming orders.

Review each order prior to entering; verify compliance with financial, contractual and regulatory requirements including appropriate sold-to information, payment terms, end-user purchase order when required, sales rep territorial limitations, etc. Obtain dollar level approval as required.

Contact company sales reps to obtain missing information or changes to purchase orders

Determine correct order type; domestic, export, etc., customer number for billing and shipping, and the correct shipping method. Verify commission control data assigned by the system.

Verify prices and resolve discrepancies.

Comply with corporate policy and regulatory requirements related to order pricing.

Initiate requests for special discount, pricing and/or commission approvals with - Assign order hold codes for pricing and other payment issues, new or special products for which order entry items numbers must be developed, production scheduling, print approval, etc. Release order holds as approvals are received.

Notify related personnel and groups of special order requirements, such as print approval prior to production and other documentation and testing, etc.

Coordinate with Product Management when development of new item numbers is required or a purchase order includes invalid part numbers.

Update orders by entering corrected or newly created item numbers and release sales holds.

Coordinate with Planning, Shipping, Customer Service etc., to accommodate rush orders, change orders, cancellations, etc. Follow up on rush orders to ensure shipment within the required time frame.

Assist Customer Service and Finance in investigating customers’ pricing disputes.

Maintain electronic files of all purchase orders and associated documentation, correspondence, notes, etc.

Create new sold-to records in the sales system for authorized direct-bill customers; add new ship-to addresses.

Generate reports requested by Sales

Constantly communicate with customers (including internal ANDA customers) with regards to improvements/delays in shipments.

Job Requirements:
