Hatteras Networks and VoiceSync weren't the only ones to make VC announcements this week.  ANDA Networks and Covergence also had received additional capital.

ANDA Networks, a manufacturer of carrier-class Ethernet solutions for fiber and copper-based access networks, closed an additional $10.5 million.  Participating investors included Venrock Associates, Highland Capital Partners, Crimson Investment and "14 other large financial institutions.  " The company reports it has been profitable over the last six quarters, with worldwide shipments more than doubled as compared to the last half of 2005.

Highland Capital Partners also participated in Covergence's $15 million Series C funding round.  Other participants include Globalspan Capital Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners.  Covergence is also reporting rapid growth due to their Eclipse SIP security and control product.  Covergence has brought in over $31 million total venture money.
